How can the north node be in the 5th house when the 5th house is in the southern hemisphere?
Hi. Houses 1 through 6 comprise the Northern Hemisphere, despite being at the “bottom” of the chart. Likewise, Houses 10-12 and 1-3 are considered to be the Eastern Hemisphere, despite being on the left of the chart. See for example the Wikipedia article on “Natal astrology” for more information on hemispheres (near the bottom of the article). Careful not to confuse an astrological chart with a conventional, geographical map of the world. 😉

me too! I have my NN, Vertex and Part of Fortune all conjunct in the 5th House in Scorpio and I’ve not only avoided sex my whole life, but am terrified of it… I don’t know why though.
Look to the planet that rules the sign of your natal Pluto. (If it’s in Virgo, you’d look to Mercury, for example. If you feel this avoidance is out of balance, the gifts of that planet and the gifts of the aspects it makes can help you feel better, liver more freely and bring you in to balance.

I’m confused about the house designation of my NN. I have a Sag ASC and a NN in Aries. What house is my NN in? Is it 1 or is it 5, or, something else?
Your birth chart should tell you, which you can find on many sites online, but if Sag is ASC (same as me!) Then your NN is probably in the 5th House.
Thank you for that part about sexuality and not blaming childhood experiences, it was indeed a part of me that was still in victim mode. Glad that has been solved now and it was a defense rather than an injury. Ok, curious now to see what is next in my sex life after a one year dry spell… Things can only get better.

This rings very true for me. The worst part with this astrology stuff is not understanding why? Feels little like you are being punished for the sake of it for being born on the wrong day.
The only thing that helps for me is remembering that I am doing my best and working hard and that if the universe does not want to support. There is nothing more I can do about it and just keep going.
