Maybe someone with n node Pisces is sensitive about fishing? Some of us try to keep a sense of humor…sometimes hehe.
In sharing what I know about these placements I’m trying to reach a broad audience with a wide spectrum of values and hobbies. Personally I have not enjoyed fishing, and I understand why someone would be offended by it, but it’s certainly an activity within the mainstream (stream, get it?). I am sincere in my beliefs, but we do need to take these descriptions with a grain of salt. They can’t apply to every single person with the placement. So, yes, hooray for common sense!

Just because you may not like eating fish does not mean the rest of us have to deny ourselves. Animals were put here to be eaten and I enjoy fish and other animals and I have a stellium Virgo with south node there. But since I use Whole house Astrology, my Pisces north node is in my 2nd house instead of my 1st. People annoy the crap out of me.

I find it informative and pretty accurate, life is about balance and understanding the pattern of life. life is boring if only all good and no upheavals. through good we get inspired, through bad we get a lesson which allow us to grow.. my true node is in Pisces and i can relate to this. now to be honest i am so different of what i am last year. but although being helpful and expecting nothing in return is always been part of me, this year i find my self so empower with courage and motivation to share and inspire other people, to make them believe that nothing is impossible if they believe in their self and follow their inner passion and desire. that there is nothing to be be afraid as they walk through the journey or changes..

I can relate to 90% or more… I feel as NN Pisces way to serious. The wide spectrum of interests has led to mayor indecisiveness and troubles. A narrow focus out of the SN Virgo? I believe so. Even this does not ‘help’, only to trust the Higher Plane relieves of the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual pains I feel from time2time. Since data and information are so heavily associated with Gemini, I would tend to think no, but fishing for imagery or memories from the unconscious would be under this purview.

Generally speaking, a child will be operating primarily off of his or her moon sign. This is the emotional body, the instincts, the less evolved (for lack of a better word) core of the person. Over time, we grow into the traits of our sun sign. For example, an Aries child with a moon in Pisces will grow in adulthood to be perhaps a bit less dreamy and more active, the pioneering and feisty drive indicative of Aries energy will become more pronounced. That is, if the child is given support and room to make mistakes, a chance to develop and grow. In this environment, he or she may “earn” the wonderful catalytic energy that can be channeled. In sad circumstances, children are stunted by circumstance or parents/family or both and they may never reach for that sun energy. A lot of people operate on their moon almost exclusively. For my money, I think it’s a much better indicator of who you’re dealing with than the sun sign actually. I think the reason sun signs get all the currency is that they’re so easy to figure out. You just go by date of birth and the rotation is mostly stable from year to year.
You asked how the sun sign and North Node can support each other, and I’m not sure I have a refined answer there. In terms of the difference, I would say the sun sign energy is much, much easier to get to. It should come naturally to a person as they mature. The North Node is karmic and seems always a struggle. How hard it is to let go of the South Node. People will, on their death beds, lament not having had that one experience represented by the South Node, they may chase after it till they die. Even if they turn to the North Node and get good rewards, they’ll easily fall back into the lure of the South. The sun sign dynamic is nothing like that. It is more comfortable for the most part, a second skin one grows and comes to like.
