My Saturn return happened right after my middle son noped out of life. I found your info with Saturn in Capricorn fresh and informative. My father was always in the background and while he was a great provider, we were not close until right before he crossed over. Just in time to catch my son noping out of life. Now they are full of joy.

Thank you for this very informative, sobering read. I am a Sun Leo, Moon in Cancer opposition Saturn, Cancer ascendant, and a year past my 2nd Saturn return. I still don’t know if I made the right choices at my 1st Saturn return, because my life was marred by huge childhood trauma from violence and severe illness, and I’ve struggled with living, ever since. So the choices I made were from a deeply broken, avoidant place, and that has more or less continued ever since.

My life has ended up a pile of ashes. I guess I am one of the examples of people who do not successfully navigate their Saturn in Capricorn. I am still working on it, facing my fears, and I think I am finally about to make a breakthrough, at this late stage! I would have to live a very long time if I am to feel proud of myself and my life.

Im a Cancer Sun (Scorpio Moon/Asc). The setting aside emotions to achieve, forgiving yourself, being your own nurturing mentor/Father Figure are really strong themes in my Saturn return. Learning that slow, steady, uncheatable path to stability is worth committing to – beyond my passing wavy, watery emotions. Thanks for writing this!

My son has this placement, he is a little over 2 years old. His father died last year, just as this placement suggests. It shook me to my core to find this interpretation. So much so, that I shared some of this in a journal that I keep for him for when he’s older. I’m trying to study his chart so that I can make informed decisions about how I can raise him best, especially since it’s just me now. Thank you for this, it was very helpful in my quest.

Saturn Capricorns do not seek a father figure to protect them. We seek mentors for empowerment. You correlated the mentors that people in this placement have who may be construed as father figures, but nowhere in my life, have I ever even fathomed seeking, thinking, or imagining myself seeking a lost father of any kind. I am the father. I may seek a mother figure, nurturing, protecting me, not abandoning me etc, but not father. What you said is not consistent with the Capricorn and Saturn’s purported energy to seek power and empowerment. I prefer the word empowerment, because power is frequently used to take power from other people.

It’s somewhat of an interesting read though.
